Welcome to Iron Men Disciples, a Christian men's Bible study group based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. We are a brotherhood dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, building strong relationships, and encouraging one another as men following Christ.

Our Inspiration and Goal

Iron Men Disciples was born out of a profound conviction that men need the support and fellowship of other men. In today's world, many men grapple with pressures, responsibilities, loneliness, and mental health challenges, often in isolation. Our group was founded to cultivate a brotherhood where men can openly, honestly, and faithfully support one another through Jesus Christ.

The inspiration for Iron Men Disciples stems from identifying the critical need for a robust support system for men – a space where they can sharpen one another, offer encouragement, and walk together in faith. By delving into Scripture, forging friendships, and maintaining mutual accountability, we aim to facilitate men's spiritual, mental, and emotional development. Our ultimate goal is straightforward: to build stronger men through Christ. When men unite in faith, they become better husbands, fathers, friends, and leaders. Iron Men Disciples is fundamentally about brotherhood, discipleship, and walking the path of Christ side by side.

Who We Are For

Iron Men Disciples welcomes any man who feels a calling to seek something more in life. Whether you are a seasoned Christian or simply exploring questions of faith, our group provides a welcoming environment to explore spiritual truths, deepen your understanding of Jesus, and build genuine brotherhood with other men.

As Jesus Himself said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest." - Matthew 11:28 (NLT).

What distinguishes Iron Men Disciples is the deep brotherhood forged through shared Scripture study and mutual encouragement towards spiritual maturity. Here, men journey together, sharpening one another and seeking Christ in unity, embodying the principle: "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." - Proverbs 27:17 (NLT).

What to Expect

Our Sunday afternoon meetings start at 3pm and finish around 5pm and designed to be a time of connection, learning, and growth. You can expect a welcoming atmosphere where we begin by gathering together with some light refreshments and snacks. We focus on Bible study, delving into specific passages to understand their relevance to our lives as Christian men, followed by open discussion and sharing, where men have the opportunity to share their insights, challenges, and victories. We also incorporate times of prayer, supporting one another through both our joys and struggles. Each meeting concludes with a sense of renewed purpose and strengthened bonds of brotherhood, leaving you better equipped to face the week ahead.
